It offers a welcome spot for anyone wanting authentic Indian food without the bustle of a typical busy market or food court.

The menu is notable for its wide range of options catering to omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans alike, with dishes like the Pav Bhaji and Vada Pav evoking the vibrant street food culture of Bombay, while plates such as the Paneer Tikka Masala, Lamb Biryani, and Aloo Gobi showcase deeper regional influences. Vegan diners will find thoughtfully prepared selections like Chana Masala and Kolhapuri Vegetable that don’t feel like an afterthought. The culinary care shows through both the seasoning and presentation, often described as both fresh and flavorful.

The portions here lean generous, making it a good choice for sharing or for those who appreciate hearty meals. Signature staples like Garlic Naan and desserts such as Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai provide a satisfying end to the meal. Drinks, including a well-regarded cocktail selection and classic Mango Lassi, complement the food nicely and add a laid-back element to the experience.

Staff hospitality is attentive without being intrusive, contributing to a dining experience that feels both welcoming and polished. The venue works well for families and groups with varied dietary needs, thanks to clear vegan and vegetarian options that avoid feeling limited.

This has been my go-to spot for Indian cuisine for a while now, and they never disappoint! Every single time I come here, the food is consistently delicious, flavorful, and freshly prepared. You can really tell they put a lot of care into their cooking. My absolute favorite dish is the chicken tikka masala with the garlic naan. Of course, I can’t leave without ordering a mango lassi. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is also great. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere makes it a comfortable place to dine in, whether you’re with family, friends, or even grabbing something solo.Overall, this restaurant never misses. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian food that always hits the spot, this is the place to go!

Very authentic Indian food! The dishes are perfectly seasoned, and my husband and I absolutely loved them. Everything was incredibly tasty, reasonably priced, and the service was fantastic! We are just a tourist and will definitly come back here w family! Highly recommended

First time eating here, very satisfied with my experience. You really get what you pay for: high quality food with large portions. I got the lamb korma and it came with a lot of tender meat and a very flavorful sauce. Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic meal for a few reasons. First, the atmosphere is relaxed yet formal. It’s a fun dining experience. Second, the menu has a great selection of traditional Indian dishes, with large vegetarian and vegan sections that were accommodating to dietary restrictions in our party. We ordered the pakoras as an appetizer and were not disappointed. The pakoras were crispy and hot, and were not greasy. I ordered the Malai Kofta as my primary dish. My personal regret is not ordering it spicier! The flavors were excellent, the portions were very generous, and the pricing was more than reasonable. The garlic naan was great too. For three people dining, ordering appetizers and drinks, along with naan and full entrees, the total cost was $101. For DC, this is insanely reasonable. The staff at the restaurant were also very kind and friendly. We chatted with them for a bit after the meal about traditional Indian dishes, particularly the deserts (which we tried two!). If you’re looking for quality food, a great atmosphere, great prices, and numerous options for those with dietary restrictions, this is a great place. Even if your party does not include vegans or vegetarians, I cannot recommend this place enough. It was a highlight during the trip to DC!

Stopped in on a Friday evening with a group of three - we were seated immediately. Servers were kind and helpful. We started with the Palak Chat which was a generous serving and had all the classic toppings. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for my friends and all of dishes were adjusted well to our spice preferences - the very spicy had my friends sweating. Dessert was clearly made fresh - hot out of the fryer. A great spot!

Absolutely incredible food and service!! Very much recommend the samosa chat (unlike any I’ve had at other restaurants), spicy lal mirch, chicken vindaloo and of course the garlic naan (all pictured below)! Everything was so flavorful and came out quickly! The service and atmosphere was also top notch— our server was so attentive and even gave me complimentary lassi and raita when my food was a little spicier than I anticipated Truly a hidden gem, would 10/10 recommend and go again :)
